Salman is concerned about audience's recognition! :

Salman Khan has had a career of 23 years, and after so many years Dabangg got him his first Best Actor award but the superstar is not concerned about the title but audience's reaction is most for him.

"I don't want any awards. I have told all the producers not to put my name in the Best Actor nomination list. I don't want to be a nominee. I get my recognition and appreciation when the theatres are full... when people whistle and clap," Salman said.

He got the Best Actor award for Dabangg at the 17th Star Screen and at Awards the Chevrolet Apsara Awards 2011.

"It's the love from the masses that matters to me. When the film goes from single theatres to multiplexes it is an award for me. I would rather believe in these rewards than such awards," Salman said.

The actor was nominated in the Best Actor category for several films like Karan Arjun, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Tere Naam, but bagged only the Best Supporting Actor award for Karan Johar's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.



"There was a time when everyone else's films were working and my films were getting bombed left, right and centre. I had to do films as I liked the script... but then I couldn't put my foot down on edit or re-shoot some scenes. But today I have realised as audience spend money on films, so it's my responsibility to ensure they are entertained," Salman continued.

"Even if I don't get my salary or remuneration from now on, I am going to be fine with it. In any case, everything I earn goes to my charitable trust 'Being Human'. What I am worried about is when my film releases audiences should be happy and satisfied," he added.



Salman explained why two songs - Character Dheela along with Zarine Khan and Dhinka Chika of his upcoming film Ready were shot again.

"Two songs have been re-shot because I wasn't happy with what was shot in Bangkok. I heard the audio... saw the visuals and thought they didn't match up. There's no strategy. I just wanted the song to be better," He said.

Ready, directed by Anees Bazmee, is a remake of 2008 Telugu film with the same name. The movie starring Salman and Asin in lead roles is lined up to release on June 3. Attire

"I am all excited about 'Ready'. I just hope we stand up to the expectations," Salman ended.

Salman Khan now edits for 'Ready' after DABANGG :

Salman Khan is being very careful now days. He has experienced worst and is leaving no page unturned to stop those days from returning. That’s why he has become an ‘editor’ for his forthcoming film READY. Sources say that Salman has gone sleepless due to Anees.

Anees Bazmee, who has given hits like SINGH IS KING, WELCOME and NO ENTRY in the past, is facing tough times. His last two films, NO PROBLEM and THANK YOU, proved to be box office disasters in spite of having multi stars. This has alarmed Salman because Anees has directed READY as well. Hence the actor is giving keen attention in the ongoing final edit of the movie.

Huge fan of Chulbul Pandey in Ready :

‘Dabangg’ Khan himself is the biggest fan of ‘Chulbul Pandey’. Salman Khan doesn’t seem to get out of the Chulbul Pandey character, he will be seen playing a die-hard fan of Chulbul in his forthcoming venture ‘Ready’.

Salman's 'Ready' Music launch :

Bollywood buddy Salman Khan gave a grand entry by performing on his song Dinka Chika at the event which was a great surprise for his fans. It also has a tag line saying Salman is Ready. The music launch was held on 25th of April at Film City.

The lead actress of the movie Asin was present at the music launch; she was wearing a white one piece. Zarine Khan who has an item song in the movie was also there. Salman’s brother Sohail Khan was present too. The director of the movie Anees Bazmee and the whole cast and crew was present at the event.



Salman said, “This music launch is basically to felicitate those people who have contribution to the film, the ageing workers who have helped us a lot during the shoot. So we thought why we don’t call them to show the promos of the movie.” Asin was also talking with those people in Tamil. Salman appreciated those workers and gave saris to the women and shirts to the men.



During the event it was asked to Salman will READY be as hit as DABANNG on which he said, “I don’t know it depends on the awareness of the movie. Every time we think of making a movie that should be up to MUGHAL-E-AZAM but that doesn’t happen.”

It was also asked that from one to ten you’re at the first as a sexiest bachelor in India what do have to say on this? Salman said, “I will change it soon…I will go in minus.” Salman also has Munni & Sheila in his song. Salman said, “We did Munni we did Shiela now we have done Chararter Dhila.”

It was also asked to Asin which is your favorite song Ring Ringa or Dhika Chika on that she said, “Definetly Dhika Chika.” Salman was asked on his item song which has many chararters like of Dharamji, Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor, “How was your experience doing that song?” Salman said, “There is no way I can compare myself to them. I tried doing it but they are best.” Salman also danced on his songs. All songs were played during the event.
